Outpost Lodge

Open seasonally from June to early October, Nahanni Mountain Lodge offers an experience shaped by the rhythm of the land, the wisdom of the water, and the stories carried by the mountains of Nahʔą Dehé. Nestled on the quiet shores of Little Doctor Lake, this remote lodge invites you into a place where time slows, the air feels lighter, and every sunrise reflects the deep beauty of the Dehcho. Here, the spirit of the Dene—their connection to the land, their respect for the water, and their understanding of place—guides each moment.

Whether you wander the shoreline, paddle across glass-calm waters, share stories by the fire, or simply listen to the silence, you’ll feel the land welcoming you in its own gentle way. This is not just a stay—it’s an invitation to experience a living homeland, to reconnect with what matters, and to carry the memory of this place long after the season ends.
